Safety and quality
Safety and quality sit inside the sequence of work.
Read the drawing, set the sequence, look at the joint after welding, and keep the site safe. That is how quality is handled.
Checking the drawings
The job starts when the drawings are received and checked. The sequence is planned only after the content and the intent of the work are understood.
Managing the sequence
Preparation, assembly, welding, inspection and finishing are managed as one sequence, from the point of view of the site.
The emphasis is on preventing rework and defects before they happen, rather than correcting them afterwards.
Welding and inspection
Qualified welders do the welding. Before finishing, the bead and the dimensions are checked and the joint is passed on. The names of the certificates are on the qualifications page.
Safety on site
Japanese site rules and safety standards are shared. The baseline is not to cause a problem.
At height, a full-body harness is used. Loads are handled by people qualified in slinging and crane operation.
Communication
A dedicated person is assigned to each site. A multinational team is coordinated, and quality and safety are managed to Japanese construction-site standards.
The work is done as one team, under the supervision of the representative.
